32nd General Assembly of the Lumanti

The 32nd General Assembly of the Lumanti Support Group for Shelter was successfully concluded on 18th December 2025, Thursday at the Lumanti office located on Gairi Gaon Marg, Hattiban, Lalitpur. The event was chaired by Ms. Gujeshwori Shrestha, the Chairperson of Lumanti, and commenced with welcoming remarks from the Vice Chairperson, Ms. Sarala K.C.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of the Annual Progress made by Lumanti during the fiscal year 2024/25, delivered by the General Secretary, Mr. Anil Sthapit. Following this, the Treasurer of Lumanti, Ms. Sajana Amatya, presented the Annual Income and Expenditure Report of the fiscal year 2024/25, along with the budget plan for the upcoming year. Both presentations were unanimously approved by the General Assembly.

Subsequent to the presentation sessions, an open floor discussion took place, allowing invited members of Lumanti to raise their queries regarding the presentations, which were addressed by the relevant Program Managers.
The Executive Director of Lumanti, Ms. Lajana Manandhar, who attended the session virtually, expressed her appreciation for the members and well-wishers who have supported Lumanti since its establishment.

On this occasion, the General Assembly also reached a unanimous decision to engage an auditing firm for the next fiscal year.
