25th Annual General Meeting of Lumanti Support Group for Shelter commended on 30th September 2018. The Annual General Meeting unanimously elected 7 member new executive committee for the next two years. The meeting decided to elect Ms Sushma Bajracharya as the Chairperson of Lumanti for the next two years again. 
 

Likewise, Ms Gujeshwari Shrestha and Mr Anil Sthapit who has been in the Executive Committee as Vice-chairperson and Treasurer of Lumanti are also elected again in the same position for the next two years. 
 

Ms Lajana Manandhar, who has been with Lumanti as General Secretary and Executive Director, decided to quit from the position of General Secretary. The Annual General Meeting unanimously elected Ms Anita Manandhar as the new General Secretary.  Ms Lajana Manandhar will remain as the Executive Director for the organization. As an Executive Director she will also be nominated as Ex-officio member of the Lumanti Executive Committee.
 

Other elected as the Executive Members are Mr Madam Manandhar, Ms Eliza Baidhya and Mr Narayan Prasad Bhattarai. The newly elected Executive Committee is governed for two consecutive years.
 

Prior to the election, Executive Director and then General Secretary of Lumanti Ms Lajana Manandhar has presented the annual progress report while the treasurer Mr Anil Sthapit presented the annual financial report of the fiscal year 2017/018.
