Ten days Training of Trainers (ToT) on Start and Improve your Business (SIYB) initiated
Ten days Training of Trainers (ToT) on Start and Improve your Business (SIYB) is formally started from 21st of October in Butwal. The training contents are certified and adapted from the curriculum designed by SIYB Nepal that supported by International Labor Organization (ILO) along with certified local facilitator Mr Nirmal Sigdel.
The participants of the training are from different municipalities of center and eastern part of Nepal that consists of Butwal, Pokhara, Kathmandu, Sudhodan,Barghat, kanchan and Machapuchre, Annapurna rural municipalities. The total participants are 20 female nominated by the local network from Kathmandu, Butwal and Pokhara.
The training has formally started in the presence of Deputy Mayor of Butwal Sub Metropolitan City Ms Guma Devi Acharya. She expressed her gratitude to organizer and participants from different cities showing their commitment to learn and enthusiasm. She also said we women have that skill where we just need some support to boost it. Now its time for women to become economically strong and move towards entrepreneurs with her motivated words participants have briefly had an interaction on accessing government allocated budget for women enterprises and women focused program and she clearly briefed the processes of accessing government fund that need to engage and aware of planning processes and time frame.
The training is organized by Lumanti under its Community Resilience Fund (CRF) project funded by Huairou Commission in close coordination and collaboration with its local project partners Community womens Forum (CWF), Himawanti Kaski (Pokhara) , Naagmandir Ama Samuha (Butwal) and Women Entrepreneurship Promotion (WEN) Nepal. Its a 10 days long training last till 30th of October 2021.
