LUMANTI is a non-profit making organization established in 1994.

It is dedicated to the alleviation of poverty in Nepal through the improvement of shelter condition. Since establishment, Lumanti has been focusing its work in the informal settlements and marginalized communities in the cities and towns of Nepal. It focuses on slum upgrading, housing projects, saving and credits, water and sanitation interventions, research, advocacy, strengthening community organizations and many more.

Housing Support for poor families (AS/8/2023)in Sundar Haraicha Municipality in Nepal.

The project 'Housing Support for poor families (AS/8/2023)' was implemented by Lumanti Support Group for Shelter targeting the poor and marginalized families of low-income communities in Sundar Haraicha. The project was supported by SELAVIP Foundation and was implemented in collaboration with Sundar Haraicha Municipality. A total of 50 poor and marginalized families were provided technical and financial support for the construction of the houses. Apart from the financial support from SELAVIP Foundation through Lumanti and Sundar Haraicha Municipality, the beneficiary households also contributed labour and financial investment to complete their houses.
